Meet Anna and Ben, the main characters of BILINGY, encounter their friends and follow them through their life, their careers and their little arguments, sometimes quirky, sometimes lazy and sometimes controversial, just like all of us.

BILINGY always has texts side by side in both languages, so you never have to puzzle about the meaning of a sentence, it's right there. New words are highlighted so you can identify them quickly and they are built up systematically over the course of 5 books and 60 chapters.

BILINGY goes beyond the basics - it is very easy to find a textbook for beginners, even in the most exotic languages, but beyond that it becomes more challenging.

BILINGY provides a structured way of learning up to C1 in the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages and builds up a vocabulary of more than 1000 words on each level. Audio - listening comprehension is essential in real life - as we all found out the first time we stood there and tentatively tried a 'Where is the toilet, thanks? No, PLEASE, I mean please'.

Download the Audio files for texts and vocabulary and use side by side with the book or on the go to immerse yourself fully.

Grammar - is suspiciously absent from BILINGY. If you study at school or at uni, there is no way to avoid grammar, but in real life what matters is to understand what is going on and get your message across, then you can worry about the 'future perfect continuous'.

We have summarized here the essential of this book by the author.

UPDATE OF THE ARGENTINE CLIMATE HISTORY

Evolution of knowledge in environmental history

Authors such as Morello, Gligo, Alier, Brailovsky and Foguelman, stated that ENVIRONMENTAL HISTORY SEEKS A BALANCE BETWEEN THE ANALYSIS OF NATURE AND HISTORY, emphasizing the changes that affect the environment.
Given that the environment is the result of the nature-society relationship, ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES CANNOT BE ANALYZED ISOLATED FROM THE SOCIETY THAT PRODUCES THEM.
THE FIRST STUDY OF ENVIRONMENTAL HISTORY was that of Fernand Braudel in 1953, about the Mediterranean Sea during the command of the Spanish King Felipe II (1556-1598).
In October 1929 a great economic crisis broke out in the United States as a result of the Wall Street stock market crash in New York. This economic crash caused a drop in the value of the shares of companies that were listed on the stock market and resulted in the bankruptcy of thousands of banks and companies. Since 1925, investment, production and employment have been declining, but gradually and without affecting the belief that the economy was growing. However, in 1929 the crisis appeared suddenly and in a few months there was a chain bankruptcy that affected most of the American economic system. In the three years that followed 1929 the crisis deepened even more, to the point that a quarter of the workforce was unemployed, almost 50% of the banks had failed and its consequences were spreading throughout the world. The United States did not seem like a place where a crisis of this magnitude was going to originate, on the contrary, it was seen as a safe economy. In the 1920s the United States had established itself as the first mass consumer society. This means that a very important sector of the population had access to goods such as electricity, radios and other devices, cars, etc. To address the issue, we have summarized the essentials of "UNITED STATES: CRISIS, DEPRESSION AND NEW DEAL", by Elena Scirica.
Summary Of "USA, World War I To 1930s Crisis" By Elena Scirica UNIVERSITY SUMMARIES【電子書籍】[ MAURICIO ENRIQUE FAU ] 500 円

We have summarized the essential of this book by the author.

THE MERCANTILIST THOUGHT

MERCANTILISM, WHICH EXTENDED APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN 1500 AND 1750, COVERED FROM THE MEDIEVAL DECOMPOSITION TO THE STAGE OF EXPANSION OF TRADE AND THE MARKET ECONOMY. COINCIDES WITH ABSOLUTISM AND COLONIAL EXPANSION IN OVERSEAS.
Mercantilism is not strictly a school of thought. But its authors were influential people in their time (ministers, lawyers, statesmen, and clergy). That is why mercantilist ideas try to respond to sectoral and specific problems. They are not, strictly speaking, a set of ordered theories, nor do they provide answers to economic problems as a whole.
They try to resolve current situations but they always reflect conflicts of interest. For them, the objective of economic activity is to increase the wealth of the Nation. THEY WONDER BY WHAT MEANS TO ENRICH A COUNTRY.
Regardless of the diverse points of view that the mercantilists have, they share a common idea about the State, the Nation and power. The rest are organized from certain basic themes.
Thus, in the first place are the issues of money, related to wealth, prices, interest rate, exchange rate and balance of payments. A second place is occupied by issues related to population, industry and work.
Sunmary Of "The Mercantilist Thought" By C.
We have summarized the essentials of two chapters in the following book:
The scientific community is international and very homogeneous. Its members support each other because they have a high regard for scientific activity and its rules. The community is led by the northern countries: the United States and the USSR, which are a model of scientific decisions and directions. They are because they have created contemporary science as we know it. That is why the author says that in the scientific field is where our cultural dependence is most marked. And the hegemony of the United States is accepted by the international community because anyone can go there to study and in principle anyone can win the Nobel Prize, or other prizes that grant status. In addition, scientists from all over the world who go to study there, when they return (if they do return) are more closely linked to the North American scientific community than to that of their country of origin. They all speak solemnly of freedom of inquiry as if it were the engine of science. But the truth is that this freedom consists in choosing a research topic among those that are already fashionable in the United States. But scientists see their cultural dependence in a very different way: for them it is the most scientifically correct decision, because they see science as a unit of universal validity. Can there be different kinds of science? Contrary to popular belief, yes, of course. Science develops unevenly in its different branches. It is a historical fact that the natural sciences have been given greater importance (greater budget) than the social sciences. And within the natural sciences, there are some branches more developed than others, and this due to the injection of budget that is guided by North American fashions. But these fashions respond to historical national interests that vary from country to country and from era to era. And a different distribution of the budget would have as an immediate consequence a different science.
Summary Of "Science, Politics And Scientism" By Oscar Varsavsky UNIVERSITY SUMMARIES【電子書籍】[ MAURICIO ENRIQUE FAU ] 500 円
